Ullmark took full accountability right away, which is refreshing. He’s played three games: stole one, was ok in another, and wasn’t good enough tonight. We’re three games in. Chill everyone.

This was peak "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" style Sens hockey.

I am so mad about this game. They had it and then total collapse. Not a great game from Ullmark but i'm sure he'll be fine once he gets into a rythem

Boys, take a breath.
You’re getting down on Ullmark.
As a 40yr nhl fan I found you two hysterical. Chill boys.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was very encouraging to see. Maybe I haven't seen enough, but never seen the recent senators play good defense like they did in the first. I thought they could have played more disciplined with short shifts like they did against Utah.

What a rough end to what had been a good game

Sens played well 97% of the way. LV kept coming. A tie point was deserved.

Great game sucks the sens couldn't pull that one out and couldn't get two points.

Thanks for all the love on twitter and Ig guys! and to all the sens fans I saw at the game tonight in section 7 row J during warmups.

onward!! GSG AND DA Bears

I like Travis alot I see what he is doing. He holds people accountable and he gives extra time to those that deserve it, doesn't matter the line. I agree with most of his moves too where with DJ I never knew what he was trying to do. I also like how Travis is managing shift length and how he uses players. Unfortunately Nick got promoted but screwed up tonight. I also do not like when Vegas tied it, the team stopped playing the right way and were panicky and tried to press a little too hard but were sloppy. Would have rather they kept calm and got it to overtime, I suppose one mistake Travis made was not calling a time out when they Vegas tied it. As for Ullmark I hope this is just injury rust, we can not afford another 4 years of bad goaltending especially at that price... I do love the guy though I hope it works out.

This isn’t going to change over night. They are playing well and a lot better than last year. We will be fine Vegas is a good team they just lost it in the last 6 mins. Just have to keep pushing

Although I was fuming after the loss, I think everyone’s overreaction to the loss. It’s not the same team as previous years. The Sens were good! They didn’t play like dog shitt, I’m remaining optimistic that we will have wins coming into November and stay hot.

I think the point was…play 60 minutes every night top to bottom or lose 2 points.

Relax, its a new year, a new team. Still looking better than the last couple years.

They played good hockey. But, they just laid back and chilled the last 10 minutes of play. Gotta play that 60 minutes! I'm still optimistic, thought, because they're playing as a unit and moving the puck good, which I have been waiting for for years now. Ullmark will find his rhythm. He was just rusty as old hell last night.

This game left me in shambles, boys. Getting to within feet of the top of the mountain, and celebrating by jumping off a cliff before hitting the summit. Shambles.

If Forsberg would have been in nets I would feel the same. Blowing a lead with 4 minutes left is ridiculous. That should have been 4 minutes of Vegas not getting a single shot on net.

The entire organization including Ullmark has to want an Ullmark start against the Avs

Being accountable and media-friendly is nice, but being a stud is better. It's great Ulllmark was on a Boston team that got gaudy amounts of points and choked to the Panthers, but he's in Ottawa now. Ottawa is a tough market, an unforgiving market at times toward goaltenders so he needs to play at Hasek levels in Ottawa for this to work.

Don't think fire alarms are going off if Forsberg sart v. COL either. He's played better and this team, right now, is about winning and making the playoffs, not contracts or sentiment.

Everyone needs to go re watch the podcast “ no more excuses” based on now we have a Vezina goalie that will make a difference. No more excuses means what it means. We loss this game, yes a few defensive breakdowns but ultimately it’s on Ullmark and he spoke to that. The bigger question for me is why couldn’t Staios wait a month or two before extending him at that outrageous amount? There was no hurry, we have him for the year. Let him prove himself at 31 years old, let’s see how his 31 year old body can handle injuries. But no, he couldn’t wait, another typical bad management decision.
