2022 ACE Studio Program artist: Cecilia Tizard

Cecilia Tizard is an emerging artist who graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Art) in 2021. Tizard’s practice is primarily engaged with photography, and operates at the intersection between traditional photography, found imagery, abstract sculpture and installation. The studio itself, as a concept and a working space, is a source of inspiration for Cecilia Tizard. Tizard creates ‘images of objects and objects from images’.

Tizard’s graduate work received the 2022 Commonwealth Private Undergraduate Award. Recent exhibitions include Unclean, FELTspace, Adelaide, 2022. Tizard was selected to participate in the 2022 Studio Program in partnership with the Helpmann Academy.
