Well.. thats gonna cause alot of.. changes considering if we're digitilizing em all, same time it would technically could force us player to play more if they're plotting to make the chars like.. a quest only unlockable or a hidden unit found in the wild typa deal. (they'll probably might have to do it anyways in case they return considering.. we aren't really getting new figs nor get an old fig along with the consoles..) but yeah not a bad idea though, still feels abit untraditional.

Skylanders doesn’t have to have toys to play game you can get characters from online stores like the eshop

It would take away from the roots and main selling point of the game, lower profits if they did have figures, and pretty much just make it a normal video game.
