★ Using Wireshark to Monitor Network Traffic ★

hey for some odd reason my interfaces aren't showing.
i refresh the list and it shows nothing.
wtheck?
i tried reading in the help menu as to why but i've found no answer.
this is odd..

i've cracked wifi using airmon-ng on ubuntu so i know a little bit about how to use local interfaces but the fact that wireshark isn't showing anything is really odd to me.

i confess tho, i dont know how to use wireshark, i sought this video to get a tiny intro into it.
i wanted to monitor my network to keep out leeches but apparently i cant even find my own interfaces ugh.

help?
