Its pretty refreshing for Alex to be talking about multiple episodes of a show besides the pilot for a change!

You forgot Brenda Song was literally the best friend in so many disney movies and shows. Sis was getting that disney sidekick money for yearssss before Wendy Wu

I like how the dad is worried about people thinking they are from the future when the only person who does is treated like a crazy conspiracy theorist.

As a writing tutor, I've recently been thinking about the episode where Phil couldn't spell and write because everything was done on the computer... that future was NOT as far off as we thought.

I didn't even realize Evan Peters was in this... and my god, this man doesn't age, he looks the exact same here as he does in Kick-Ass, and American Horror Story.

This was one of the shows where the Keeley, despite being a cheerleader, was not mean. She was popular, yet kind. Most of the Disney shows like Lizzie, Hannah Montana etc.. type casted rich or stylish girls as mean and snobbish eg Kate, Amber & Ashley.

My favourite show, not seen this in ages. You know, they said that the show was cancelled due to decline in popularity, despite it being highly watched with high ratings. It turns out that the show bosses took all the money and ran, leaving nothing behind. Nobody could carry on and it forced them to cancel. Apparently, nobody knows where they are or went since. Such a shame.

I can't believe that this show lasted for only two seasons of 42 episodes. It had a great, unique premise, a hilarious ensemble cast, and best of all, no laugh track.

Little fun story. I knew the actress who played Keely back during the beginning of grade school in the 90s. But she ended up moving away to California when we were entering the fourth or fifth grade. I didn't know why she moved away but one day when I was in seventh or eighth grade I flipped on the TV and Disney Channel and I see her on the screen. It had been that day I got my answer as to whatever happened to her.

"Meet a boy named Phil, and his family,
On vacation from the 22nd Century!"
That theme song lives in my head, rent free, it was so catchy, and I knew all of the lyrics.

16:09 are we not going to talk about how devastating that ending was??? Because I rewatched this two years ago because I didn’t know how it ended and never watched it all the way through and this just… killed me. LIKE WHAT IT WAS INVESTED IN THEIR “WILL THEY WONT THEY” THAT I WAS LIKE OH IT CANT END BADLY RIGHT???? I WATCH AN ENTIRE SERIES ABOUT TWO PEOPLE SLOWLY FALLING IN LOVE BUT IN DENIAL UNTIL THE LAST EPISODE AND WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO JUST RIP THE RUG FROM UNDER US? No but seriously how did the entire studio agree that this was a good ending? SMH

No kidding, I cried so much when I rewatched the show on Disney+ because I didn´t remember how it ended, Phil and Keely are the Disney Channel couple who got the most tragic ending, he went back to 2121 a year where she was already dead, in season 1 they played with the idea that they would still be able to see each other and he could even take her to hang out with him in the future because time traveling was really easy for them but it got ruined because it was said they messed things up so much staying there that they created a new law in the future that forbids time traveling to that specific decade, I wished so badly that Keely would decide to go with them...

Us girls had to pull our shirts down like that because all the pants were... **shudders** LOW RISE.

3:30 "how did they get the house?" It's been forever but didn't they buy it with diamonds? I thought diamonds were basically just the exhaust from the time machine so they had a lot, while aluminum was rare and they thought they were rich when they had a roll of aluminum foil.

7:33 Man, the kids being genuinely happy for their teacher's marital 'accomplishment' might be the most wholesome thing I've seen in my life. Like look at their faces, they are 100% supportive.

I had a huge crush on Phil in this show.

They did sprinkle in Pheely feels way before the finale, it was super cute. They had a really great episode where they're trying to go to a dance together. Just totally as friends! Totally. Shenaniagns happen, they think they can't go together so they get different dates, and then their dates conspire to have Phil and Keely dance together and spend the night together. It was great, I love that ep.

Looking back now, I didn't realize how young they looked. They just always seemed older when I was younger watching this show

A couple of things about the weird order and lack of explanation. Before the show premiered, Disney Channel aired a couple of preview style ads showing the family renting the time machine and getting stranded, so everyone who watched the channel regularly knew the premise already. And I remember them advertising the earlier episodes as a special event, like a "discover how it all began" thing. So the order on Disney plus is definitely the aired order
