Mystery as huge flock of birds suddenly drops dead mid-flight

Security footage shows a flock of birds suddenly and mysteriously dropping dead mid-flight in the northern Mexican city of Chihuahua.

Local police reported that close to a hundred yellow-headed blackbirds - migrating from northern Canada to Mexico for the winter - had died.

A local vet suggested they could have inhaled toxic fumes from a heater nearby or been victims of an overcharge from electricity cables, but authorities still do not know what caused the deaths.
