"My tears say it all. It's very hard. Why do we have to suffer?"

Zhenia is one of many people living in the metro tunnels beneath the war torn city of Kharkiv in northeast Ukraine.

She has been wearing the same clothes since her home was hit by Russian artillery in February, forcing her to seek refuge in the station with many others from similar situations.

But the longer they remain in the station without fresh air or the ability to wash, the more people are getting ill.

This is life below the war torn streets of Kharkiv.

Heartbreaking. These people had regular lives. Can’t believe this is happening and still going on.

I lived in Ukraine, Kharkiv for some time and it hurts me so much to see these people suffer... to see the place I've lived in like this... Kharkiv was such a beautiful city, full of life... Ukrainian people are beautiful people, they don't deserve going through this... I hope that the war will be over soon... I'm out of words... I'm very very sorry...

As a wise man from Asia currently courting a woman from Russia, it's sad to know that Russia is disintegrating itself economically, morally, socially and militarily in every sector by staging this aggression

Right now America is caught up in a debate that we need to have about gun control. 19 innocent children were murdered in their class room. But we cannot forget about the children in Ukraine who are suffering. We have to bring an end to Putin's evil attack on Ukraine.

The fact that Russia lost so many men in such a short span and lose the economic gain of fifteen years would take decades and generations to heal

Zhenia's grief puts the character of Putin on full display. This is your legacy, Vlad. You will never escape it.

None of this would happen if Zelensky would do what he promised to do. But he cares only of his own people, not Ukrainians. Shame on you, bbc. Shame on you!

Why can't BBC just report news factually instead of making emotional videos?

I strongly reprehend the Russian bombardment in Ukraine but where were your crocodile tears when the US and its abettor alliance NATO bombarded Iraq when the UN Security Council announced that there had not been any mass destructive weapons in Iraq?

Hans-Georg Maassen, who from 2012-18 was president of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany’s domestic security agency, has warned that the country is “sleepwalking” into a direct military confrontation with Russia by delivering weapons to Ukraine. When we deliver weapons, not helmets, not bandages, it means that we are automatically running the risk of becoming a party to a war." The former intelligence chief went on to argue that contrary to what the German media says, “Ukraine is not a bastion of human rights, of freedom, peace and Western values.” He also called on the German leadership to consider why they are exposing the country to the “danger of a nuclear conflict.”

Karkviv is where Gonzalo Lira is broadcasting from and he is happily sitting this out from his apartment not from an air raid shelter.
