Bkc really is the exact opposite of Freezai. While Freezai gives a concise explanation of one very specific element of Pokémon, Bkc will give you an hour long rambling video touching on every possible aspect of something. I’m just happy to watch both

Eagerly awaiting the Smogon competitive lore cinematic universe.

Not even including OU, there are many generations that spikes defined. It's crazy how good such a simple move is.

I personally love the tangents. It’s always interesting to hear more of the personal opinions of a seasoned player.

Idk, I personally like the non-scripted nature of your videos. I know it's sounds weird but it feels like your friend explaining the complex mechanics of game you never heard about but you still listen to them because it's interesting.
But that's just me.

"Welcome to Groovytown." Now that's what I call an introduction.

Appreciate you covering the history of so many of these mechanics - it's great knowledge for newer players, or even people who have been around since the ancient days (myself included). Always something new to learn about Pokemon, it seems!

I'm gonna be honest the bkc rambles are what makes you so unique and what I enjoy so much but you do write rlyy good scripts

One note about forre is that now a days curse fire lax is at a really bad place in the meta so the only lax that is running fire is 4 attacks or the very very rare toxic lax. 4 attacks is not the most common and often not the lead. Toxic lax is more commonly the lead but flamethrower only has a 23% chance to kill forre. As such lead forre at this point can spike against lead lax pretty safely.

I actually prefer the rambling and no scriptness. Every tangent is another pokemon info dump and more BKC time for us

i really wish They'd Nerf Stealth Rocks and give it 2 or 3 Layers but it just be Spikes but for all Pokemon that way it balances out the Hazard the Type Advantage Hazard thing is stupid or make it to have 2 Layers to get the Full effect of Stealth Rock or something

My single wonder is whether Spike’s AA cousin, Stealth Rock, will be mentioned

I'd love a short updating this video: "And then they made a Dark type move that lays Spikes, and a signature mon to wield it effectively. Oh, and a total defog blocker with incredible stats, typing, and the afformentioned best ability in the game, ever. Uh, the end."

pokemon discussions always kinda crack me up

“why is A good”
because it counters B and C and stuff

“okay why is that good?”
because B and C really beat down D

and why does that matter?
because D beats E which is a counter to A.
