Chad, Doss Farms....you have some nice straight trees. Why clear and doze just to pile and burn? We called a logger and gave him first shot. We tagged trees we didn't want cut. We made $20k on our 105 acres. Then we hired the dozer. Think about it.

I was 🤣 at Maximus playing in the hay. It's so funny when they do that with the bales. Can't wait to see what you do with that space. I know how you all like to be close to your animals. Hope you grow a garden too. Nothing like fresh veggies that you've grown. So much better than store bought. Even though you don't like a lot of veggies. LOL! Chad, from a KY 4plate that sit countless days watching my horses and standing up and stepping onto one of my favorite horses back to go across the field. It could have been the wood dad got but we had to wait 1 year before a year until we made it black. I don’t have a clue what it was but it was tary type black stuff. You’ll NEVER regret making a fence like that. I did a lot of talking to Jesus sitting on ours and also just sitting there with not a worry in the world watch the livestock. I love to see your chapters of your book unfold. Keep up the good work~Donna

Chad, if it were my place (which it isn't) I'd clear the perimeter and where I wanted fence lines, but I wouldn't doze a lot of land. You can always take more later, but you can't put it back. And it's so pretty. The cattle will clear everything up to 6ish feet and you'll be able to see them. I like the idea of the 4-rail Kentucky fence as you described it's location and design. As always, my love and prayers to all the Doss family. And I say Amen!

I caught another You Tuber, and they have a hay barn like covering, I don't remember how many bails of hay it holds, similar to yours. Also, It makes it easier for them in bad weather and they don't get moldy. I know you have many things in the planning. I'm excited for you and your family. What a dream come true.
