A textbook example of how important the original soundtrack is to this scene.

It's baffling that these two have never met in the MCU.

That’s funny because the original Watson also served in Afghanistan in the original books. The British invaded the area but couldn’t control the area

Nice to see Bilbo and Smaug getting along after all that bother under The Lonely Mountain 🤗

Sherlock Holmes went from a curious and smart detective that sometimes reached brilliant conclusions through his deep reasoning skills to a half-robot half-OCD being that seems to know everything on Earth thanks to the slightest unperceivable details.

Also he's always represented as a misunderstood asshole with a superiority complex, the original Sherlock was relatable and ultimately good-natured.

Yeah, this show just made him out to be an absolutely horrible person. Sherlock in Doyle's books was a far kinder man.

The Brits know how to write a script and their actors have an excellent sense of timing.

Amazing how young Crumblelatch looks in this.

North Gower street.
I used to run the pub on the corner, the Crown and Anchor in the 90s. Frustratingly always out of shot. Speedies was my local bacon hangover sandwich.
Fantastic Indian restaurants on Drummond St.

Although the character is fun to watch, too many people these days feel like they're justified to talk like this because "that's just how they are" and, unless you're Sherlock Holmes, it just makes you a pompous a-hole

Hearing Benedict say “221B Baker St” was such a trip for me

This Sherlock is such a horribly written "intelligent" character. He just knows things for no reason. There is no good basis for most of the things he figures out. By the way, he doesn't use deduction, he uses abduction.

And only later do you realise, he was just trying to show off 😂

Still have to give Jeremy Brett's Holmes the edge, tho this was a brilliant update on the original.
