Truck hijacking operations are very different from pilferage (or inventory theft) although both are supply chain security threats and impact you financially.

Cargo theft in the form of truck or trailer hijacking, typically one-off incidents, need to be dealt with differently from pilferage or inventory theft, which are smaller in quantity but more frequent.

Most GPS systems help with hijacking to a certain extent, but cannot solve inventory theft.
