Hey Steven, awesome video, I'm learning a lot. Newbie question here: You assign a private IP address to the firewall because you're in a lab environment, then that IP address is translated by your router to an inside global address (this IP address would probably be the same as your host computer)? My next question is: Your Windows OS within the lab has a default gateway that points to the firewall. Does the path go like this: Windows OS (lab) > PF Sense > Router > Internet?

A great content as always. I have a problem when installing the pfsense. I'm having this error "cannot reach the netgate servers". I've double checked my wan (bridged ) and lan (nat), everything is Ok.
