My go pro 7 white doesnt crash, is reliable and about the time i just press the button and not set it and if you want to skip that process and just shoot the video just press the capture button it it would redirect you to shooting instantly even when its off

I have one. I have had a lot of problems with it. Froze and short battery life. I did the upgrade 3 times. That helped. The battery lasts much longer and while the freezing isn’t gone it’s not as bad. The photo quality is low. There is a long delay between pressing the photo button and the shutter working it’s useless as a point and shoot. The wide angle is maddening, makes me want to vomit with a sense of vertigo. The screen is not responsive as you described. It’s a $200 paper weight. Oh and the app is awful. I got it as a gift. I will neve4 buy a GoPro. I tried to return it but waited to long after Christmas. Funny thing is Best Buy generally has a no hassle return policy, but for this they had a few day after Christmas, regardless of when it was actually purchased. Makes one wonder. When I called GoPro support for the freeze up and short battery life I asked if they had a lot of problems with the White and the guy said yes. It’s a bad camera.

in my 3 years of using this exact camera with san disk 64 gb micro sd card it worked perfectly i esspecialy liked the audio capture of thjs thing but the bad thing was that it has terrible responce time

I picked up the White 7 as well. I do not use it a lot, so that’s why I got the cheaper one. I like it. Does what I need it to do. (You are right about the crashing/freezing lol. Does it a few times to me)

GoPro White supports 64gb... Its advisable to use a 32gb memory card. If you use a 64gb memory card the chances of it being completely used is quite high and so the camera becomes slow or hangs. Try 32gb it will help. Moreover the new update should solve this. And if it doesn't talk to GoPro they really help.. Good luck!

Great review. I was really considering getting this over a knockoff action cam because the waterproofing and unbeatable stabilization, but now Idk. Reviews for the black edition don't seem to mention the same issues. Right now on Amazon a factory refurb Hero7 black is only $40 more than the white, with removable battery, better dynamic range, and even more advanced stability. Even if you don't output to 4k, having those extra pixels for editing is actually very helpful.

Great video mate. Clear, precise and concise. Loved your slow speech, low tone voice and the to-the-point arguments. I got a GoPro 7 White a few months ago for my birthday and im just starting to use it. I'm worrying I'll get the same prbls you mentioned. Im just a newbie and don't have the intention or the pretension of doing any fancy stuff with it. I consider it as my "first steps into the water" with action cams. Let's see what my experience will be.

Thank you for the information. I just bought a Gopro White mainly for the stabilisation. I know it's the bottom of the Gopro range. If it does not work like i expect i will buy the DJI osmo action camera to replace th white.
