This part gets us set up for graphing. It's really important you get this under your belt before you continue. For this reason, try making up some of your own equations, and seeing if you're able to do them as well. Here are a few:

3y + 2x = 7 (Isolate y).
9x - 3y = 14 (Isolate x).
14z + 13q = 3q - 2z (Isolate z).
