I believe the natural exponent rule that you used only applies to integers as the exponent. The method I used was U-Sub with x/2 as U and I reached the same answer but I wasn't sure if it was coincidence or an aspect of that rule I'm not aware of.

Why u dont use u-substitution then the answer will be 2.e^1/2x +C ???
