This was the best introduction to PDO I have stumbled upon so far. Much appreciated!

This is the best introduction to PDO that I have watched. Well it is the only introduction, but it is still the best. You have converted me to the dark side, and I will be slowly changing one of my projects to PDO. All this time and I didn't know it was this easy, no more typing ssiiissssidddd anymore LOL

Amazingly clear set of tutorials. Big Thumbs up! Any chance of extending this though to cover PDO thoroughly?

*sigh* I've had absolute terrible luck in getting a web developer job in the past 14-16 months. Heck, I even tried getting a crappy low paid job first after university and nothing.

Back in 2013, I got a 2:1 in web design and development. Wanted a 1st, but oh well. I did really badly on the web application intregation assignment with PDO and using a PHP framwork which I did not understand too well, but I did really well in everything else.

THEN after university, I thought, "right, get some experience then I can get a job" so I did an online based volunteer role, but the client was so unresponsive to his emails he didn't reply to me for one whole month and literally said "oh, hi, just carry on your work" and made me sit there doing nothing for a whole month, oh, and guess what? The server broke a couple of months later and he couldn't talk to me ever again.

So I thought "get another volunteer job" and I did meet a client in sheffield. This time it was an offline volunteer job. And I won't say who he is, but he was a real moron. He kept ordering me about in text messages and kept saying "we are running out of time, work 40 hours a week, give it 110%" - And don't forget, I was working for free, and his company was a non-charity organisation. I kept telling him 16 hours a week as I had to look for work and survive on job seekers allowance. The time ran out and he got so pissed off (and butt hurt) about the job centre that he didn't give me a job. What an idiot, he expected me to starve while working for free, and because I had valid reasons to only work 16 hours a week for free, he got pissed. He didn't lose ANYTHING out of me doing PHP and javascript and everything.

So now, I've been doing 2 volunteer web jobs, and got nothing. Even the employers I apply for nowadays still say "not enough experience" - FOR GOD'S SAKE I HAVE A DEGREE, WORKED FOR FREE TWICE AND YET THESE RETARDS DON'T WANNA HIRE ME FOR PAYMENT???

So what am I supposed to do huh? Starve while working for free again!? Learn every single PHP and language out there while starving to get a job? As I've said, I've even tried getting ordinary jobs and they still say no. They're too scared of paying me the scumbags.

Remember that rowCount() doesn't return the count of affected rows for all databases!
