Very cool Benzo.. remember Roasting Black Sand can be dangerous!
No Breathing in nasty gases! Avoid 100%
Sulfides in black sand if present, release Sulfur Gas during roasting.
I’m sure you know this and are taking the appropriate precautions.

I’ve never seen that method of extracting gold from black sands. So is what’s happening there just the hot black sands fracturing and releasing the gold when it hits the cool water?
