The layoffs for 2008 were different, it was due to mismanagement of a banking system !! but the layoffs in 2023 are different, it is due to recession, saturation, less demand and more supply, and generative Ai tools. it is not easy to learn all of the things in first go for a fresher dev + dsa+ complex project + ML+ Ai, +system design +oops+ computer fundamentals !

Only studying dsa with pre generated questions makes less sense rather that applying dsa while making projects or working on a project and bring up more functionality and complexity and resolve with dsa
For ex .
I have seen list of projects to work on for beginners and for ones who are ahead in field
And one thing that i got fascinated about was building recommendation system design
Although it is old as a aged wine
But this concept is still sweet in todays perspective
And i researched about it
And it took me to some database type- graph database like neo4j
Then it made me curious to learn graph ds to implement it while working eith that type of system and awaken the zeal to finally learn python to touch base of machine learning

Currently, I am in my second year of the fourth semester. I have learned Java, Python, and am currently going through Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), but I haven't completed it yet. I have a particular interest in Java and am thinking of learning web development during my summer vacation. What should I do? Can you guide me with a one-year roadmap to become more proficient in Java and build some projects? Also, how much should I learn in web development.

Hello, Brother.

I completed my Bachelor’s of Engineering in Information Technology in 2023 with an 8 CGPA. I have a one-year education gap during my graduation. To be frank, I currently lack the knowledge required to secure a position in any startup. Initially, I began with full-stack development but have not yet completed the frontend. Considering the potential risks AI poses to market development jobs, I'm contemplating a transition to data science. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate your guidance and suggestions on which path would offer better prospects for the future. Your suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Brother, I'm pursuing BCA (at a tier-3 college), so even at the BCA level, having strong skills in DSA and web development is important. While my DSA skills aren't very advanced, I can solve intermediate-level questions, and I'm at an intermediate level in web development. What more should I do?
