....one of the best videos I've ever seen. Simple. Informative. No BS or agenda besides the process 👏

True artists are in shops like this making broken materials into beautiful pieces that not only look great but have a restored purpose. Would love to learn how to do this one day and make my own work come to life. Hats off to you and whoever else does this craft.

You are a credit to your trade sir. That is one fine knife you forged. What does a beautiful peace of art like that run for?

There are metal guys and wood guys. The pattern welded non Syrian steel made here is beautiful. However, it deserves far more attention and finishing on a great piece of wood for the handle.

Nice work! I love the pattern that you attained by using the chain layered with those sheets of steel. A brilliant way to make an heirloom tool/weapon that will last generations. Beautiful!

Some knife makers never touch a workpiece with a hammer on the anvil. It's just more practical to do everything with the hydraulics and the grinder.

I think they really miss something by never shaping blades on the anvil. You don't have to do it all the time or every time, but hand forging is satisfying in a way other techniques aren't.

Love your art, man.

1:54 if you close your eyes and listen it’s the sound your dog makes on Sunday morning at 5:30am when you’re trying sleep in and he’s panting in your face because he wants to go for a walk….
