Not surprised at all.
Integrated hanblebars are not a one piece mould and need to be joined and sharp curved sections are harder to layup. 2 bikes 2 failures is really bad. Yeah they were dropped but what are the odds of two bikes two breaks in the same race? Yeah low. These bike manufacturers can't even make basic bike shapes correctly let alone these fancy shapes. And have you seen the price of this bike? Video coming on this one.

Sure, get one. Crash it on each side and see if the bars snap off like in the race. What I wonder about is if anyone of these (ala Canyon) have snapped while JRA and if Bianchi had theirs made by the same supplier? Have any of the Cervelo one-piece things broken JRA or in crashes?

I learned a lesson two days ago. I pulled a carbon stem off of a bike and spotted that the stem has a crack in it. It runs from the steerer tube towards the front for about an 1/8th of inch or so. I'm surprised by the location but glad it didn't come apart on me. So, my lesson is to check parts more often.

GC… is it possible the bars used on the race bikes are slightly different than the bars used for the bike sold to general public? I mean the race teams may use completely different (lighter) bars, , , or maybe they are modifying the bars to make them lighter. i mean these are race teams and they may be doing something different in these team bikes.
