Bought this bike (Oltre Pro) last year on the heavy recommendation of my LBS. They're a Bianchi shop and couldn't keep it in stock. I was looking to upgrade from my 10 year old Infinito and not looking for a "race bike" at all, just a good, comfortable all around bike with disc brakes, electronic shifting, trading up to a 12 speed from a 10 speed, etc. I couldn't believe how effortless this bike was to ride, just unbelievable. I was worried it would be tough to climb with considering it is quite a bit heavier than my Infinito, but it really has not been a problem. The thing I was most surprised at was how comfortable I was on the bike, and how good I felt afterwards--none of that "beat up" feeling I was used to from my older bikes (also have an old Trek Madone that I still ride, all mechanical with rim brakes). The key for me was sizing DOWN to a 47 from a 50cm frame, and going with wider tires. That combo was key.

I ride a Cervello S3 54 cm. What would be a good size in that Bianchi Oltre pro? 53? Is it more aero than the Cervello S3?

I bought this bike a few months ago, upgrading from an XR3 that I put 50K on. This bike is just fun to ride. The power goes to the ground and stays there. It's easy to hold speed, even into a headwind. I ride this bike 5 to 6 days a week. Some rides are easy, some are hard. It does it all with ease. Climbing is pretty good but the descents are super fun. The bike goes where I want it to and stays there. I will disagree with you on the wheels. A 50 is a bit much, especially in the wind. These are Bianchi's house brand wheels. By their own admission, they can't be fixed. There is no manual on the wheel or spare parts. While they do look awesome, their performance is lack luster and it brings the bike down. I swapped them out for a set of Rolf Ares 4 and the bike came alive. I've done over 10 60+ mile rides and felt as comfortable at the finish as when I started. It is pricey but if you can swing it, get one. It's worth it!!!!

4:40 could you provide more info about the wheels outside of their aesthetics? Internal rim width? Tubeless compatible? Also 8:50 be more specific here. What is the specific tire clearance. These are things your potential customers want to know from a video review.

You guys don’t really know the Oltre lineup do you? All over the place with your data and mixing up the frames. That’s an Oltre Pro, the RC is the real one! The RC frame is very different and you notice it. The Pro is nice but the RC is truly special. You didn’t ride an RC for this video believe me.

Love bianchi, love my oltre XR4, absolutely hate these terribly ugly new frames. I've no doubt it's amazingly fast and fun, but the cockpit, raised stem and sharp angles were just really disappointing to see from bianchi.

Can't believe how Bianchi out of all managed to produce such an incredibly ugly bike! Also can't believe that people who can spend huge amounts of money on high-performance bikes only buy them for their (claimed) performance data and always completely ignore looks.
