The evil eye refers to the harm someone may encounter due to jealousy or envy towards others. It starts when the person likes a thing, then his evil feelings affect it, by means of his repeated looking at the object of his jealousy. The evil eye is real & shouldn't be taken lightly. Most people are negligent in protecting themselves & don't worry about showing off their blessings; posting every detail of their life on social media. Know that not everyone who sees your story will be happy for you! It is important to educate people about Usūl of Hadith.

The classical majority view about hadith that are not NMutawatir is that they cannot be used for beliefs, then he is fine to hold the view he does. Because the view of the majority of classical Sunni scholars is that hadith that are not Mutawaatir cannot be used for beliefs as they are not enough in number and hold too much speculation, even if they are sahih.

This is the view of Nawawi, Baghdaadi, Baaji, Baaqilaani, Tahawi, Bayhaqi etc in fact it is the view of the majority of Hanafi, Maliki and Shafi’is as it is part of the Madhab upon which many sahih hadith aren’t accepted.

Right now i am 16 old boy and i am good looking and when ever i go on my family members houses they always say he is very good looking.and at the age of 14 i started losing my hairs, is this is the symptoms of evil eye.

first hadith is ظني الثبوت. It is احاد. also the narrators are Sahil ibn hanif and according to the event, the companions swore that he couldn't life his head or stay awake. so how can he narrate it. The second is his son who did not witness the event as he was very young at the time as well, you can confirm by tracking their biography.
the second hadith is ظني الدلالة, which means you can place the text on the belief but it is not a clear cut.
The quran however is clear on this matter
The evil eye story exists in three stories:
1) Adam and Iblis, Iblis saw how allah blessed adam and honored him and seeing that increased his jealousy to harm Adam and get him out of the Jannah.
2) Prophet Yusuf and his brothers where his brothers saw their father's love for their brother and they thought of killing him then ultimately they got rid of him in the well.
3) The two adam's son's where allah accepted an offering from one and they other said I will kill you after seeing that and then he killed him.

All three stories show events where the one side saw a blessing and seeing that blessing increased their jealousy to harm the other person. Allah tells us about this in surat alfalaq .
If you see a blessing someone has you attribute it to allah and that should remove any jealousy in the heart because if it is from allah and we do not accept allah's will then who are we to go against allah's will and knowing our place by attributing any blessing allah gives any of his creation will prevent shaytan or self from feeling jealousy.


This type of evil eye belief where the eye has power to do harm is preislam by a few thousand years and it is spread between many pagan nations.

Unfortunately most of the people Translate Eyn as evil eye, but in reality there is no mention of Evil in the word Eyn …

Eyn just means the Effect of eye of a person who says some words of praise or exclamation looking at something amazing . This can come even from a true believer as well as a jealousy person ..

So each of us before making any exclamatory remarks should adopt a method of praising Allah before the exclamations to avoid the misuse of exclamation by the shythans to convert it into a create dangerous effect agaisnt the people ..
