Among the Fields of Gold | Timberborn Beta - Part 3 (Lumberpunk Beaver Settlement Builder)

Показать описание
Timberborn continues and we increase the amount of fields in our settlement in order to provide much food to our hungry lumberpunk beavers, so there's carrots and potatoes and also... wheat! Glorious golden fields of wheat, which we send to the gristmill to make flour and then off to the bakers to bake some delicious bread!

Food is a constant issue with our colony, particularly as the population booms, but we also find time to build more houses, further water pumps and an extra forester! There's also a new and exciting ride straight from the funfair but, unfortunately, there's some poor placement choices made with regard to that...

We also learn why quite a lot of our beavers don't take jobs, even though some are very obviously available; they don't want to travel too far from home!

NOTE: This is the closed beta version of the game.

Humans have long gone extinct, and you now lead a society of lumberpunk beavers. Will your civilization do any better? Play as one of three races with distinct features that greatly influence your experience and see how long your civilization can last for.

Technology and science are the foundation of every civilization. Use ingenious timber-tech for the good of your society. Every building and structure is made entirely out of wood, which is the main resource in Timberborn.

Construct the beaver settlement of your dreams using the modular, multi-tier architecture system.

Build a prosperous city with efficient production chains and beaverish nighttime activities. Follow the lives of individually simulated inhabitants throughout their day.

Satisfy the needs of your population to unlock bonuses and new races.

Play one of the included maps or create your own and share it with the community! Los Beaveros anyone?

Unique beaver societies

Common Beavers lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle and are great for your first playthrough. Eager Beavers require very little sleep but consume more food. They are good for a more challenging experience. Last but not least are the Fancy Beavers who basically like pretty things. Refuse to decorate your settlement and they’ll die of depression. Oh, yeah… they also breed like rabbits.

And we regularly add new features! Stay in the loop by adding Timberborn to your wishlist.

PS. Did we mention our game has beavers?

I feel like another grill or two may be a good idea to deal with all the potatoes that are coming in, hopefully that helps with the food situation

Welcome to Penge's Colony of bread and circuses. Only we're out of bread and the circus carousel might need a hamster wheel to run it.

Maybe the unemployed beavers lived far away from the available jobs, so maybe place houses near the carrot fields and forrester?

I just noticed the water wheels are spinning in opposite directions! 🤔😂

This is one of the city builders that needs housing close to work places... apparently.

Do the warehouses/log storage areas have radiuses like the labor yard does? Maybe the forester was too far away from the planks and the logs to count, particularly if they were stored across the river.

Why didnt you take out the 11 inventors as soon as you had issues with food ? also building housing thus increasing pop is just adding to the food problem

can't you build a footbridge on top of the scaffoldings in one of your buildings in the 2nd island? Im pertaining to the one behind the carpenter or near bridge. You've used scaffolding instead of footbridge. if so, we can have a 3rd floor :)
