After becoming the first man to KO Minotauro Nogueira, Frank Mir exceeds expectations by becoming the first man to submit Big Nog. The former champ talks about the fight, and gives his prediction for Lesnar vs. Overeem.

Frank Mir was a BJJ trainee under our coach, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Sergio Penha - Carlos Catania. Coach Carlos is an absolute master... I'd love to see an interview of Frank Mir talking about Carlos. I could guarantee it would be respectful, honoring and good. Thanks for posting this video. It's great to hear the post-fight explanation, especially how he describes the technique necessary to counter the kimura and what his opponent should have, but did not, do.

@nickpeyon Yeh at one point he was face planted with his arms on the side, Herb should have stopped the fight then instead of telling Nog to not hit him on the back of the head (which he wasnt)

Frank Mir is probably one of the best guys at analysis, he says what a guy does and doesn't have and isn't afraid to properly critique his own game. If he is on his game, I don't know who can stop him.

That was such a great fight! Loved what Mir did and at the same time admire Big Nog's work in the fight. He had Mir rocked good and just made a mistake and it ended up costing him the fight. Great fight no matter what

Frank was the man when I first sarted watching and then he got cocky and a little bit boring so I started wanting him to loose, but after yesterday, I think he's back on track!!! Good match, sorry to see Big Nog go out like that, but dude is mad tough!!!

I think Mir vs Overeem would be a very interesting matchup. Hope it happens some time next year. I believe Overeem has the edge vs Lesner and will get stunned with a knee to the chest when coming in for the takedown.
