Mir is probably my favorite fighter. I know that some people think he's arrogant, but I've always thought that he speaks the truth. The truth can be brutal sometimes, but I think he accurately identifies other fighters' strengths and weaknesses (as well as his own). It's no wonder he gets to do commentary for WEC. I respect guys like Mir who are intelligent in and outside of the cage. I think Cro Cop is one of those guys too. Looking forward to this fight very much.

You people hate on Mir too much. All his fights have been in the UFC and he still shows people up. Give him some credit. I like Mirko but he's way past his time. His last two fights were against novices that he would have demolished in the first round if he was still the Cro Cop from Pride.

Cro Cop isnt the same as he was in Pride, that Cro Cop would wreck Mir 10/10 times...he was way to explosive and devastating for Mir to handle, even now Cro Cop is the much better striker but looks like he lost that killer instinct and isnt so explosive, Mir wont get him down (his wrestling has always sucked) as Cro Cop still has amazing TDD. Cro Cop wins being the tougher guy...Mir always breaks when getting hit (Vera, Cruz, Brock, Carwin)...WAR CRO COP!!!

This is one of the few UFCs that doesn't look like a great card. It definetly isn't worth buying. This should be free.

IMO, I look at it like this, Frank Mir came back to the UFC 2 years after his last fight. Frank Mir was no longer ranked and fought Marcio Cruz. After that defeat he fought Dan Christison who was ranked. The he fought Brandon Vera and was defeated. Then he fought Antoni Hardonk who was also not ranked. After winning against Hardonk he fight an unranked Lesnar. Defeating Lesnar does not constitute as a move up in the rankings IMO. His first real test at a top 10 opponent was Big Nog. TBC
