How To Block Your Number When Calling On ANDROID - Hide Caller ID

In this tutorial, I will show you how to block your number when calling on Android. This feature within the Android phone settings will hide your caller ID for all outgoing calls. This Android tutorial will feature both an LG and a Samsung phone as the settings are similar but not exactly the same. This Call ID setting is great if you are looking to make calls but keep your number hidden from the recipients.

The way you did it in this video was so easy & commonsense therefore I knew when I went to my phone it was not going to be anywhere as simple as you showed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and went to phone app but could find nothing that stated to 'block my caller ID'. Where is it or does it even exist on my phone?

Almost similar on Google Pixel 4, too.
Under menu (3 dots) > settings > calls > additional settings > caller ID.
3 options here. 1-Network default. 2- Hide number 3- Show number. It was at #1. Change it to option 2 and all done.
Thanks for sharing this man. You have a new subscriber and thumbs up.

I have a Galaxy s21 and this guide was pretty close to the menu now.
The difference was after you get into the phone menu you go
>open three dots menu
>settings
>supplementary services
>show your caller ID
(it's set to Network Default)
>select 'Never'

I think that should do the same thing

For the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE you have to select call settings, supplementary services and then select show your call ID. You have the option of default, never and always.

Is it the same with a Samsung Galaxy A20?

Does using Google Fi as my carrier affect this? Or perhaps my Motorola Moto G Stylus has a different setting?
