Kiss Your Vocal Tracks With A Touch Of Slap Delay Using Waves Amazing H-Delay Plug-in

In this free video tutorial, brought to you with the support of Waves, we show you a vocal mixing quick tip using Waves H-Delay plug-in. Often reverb does more harm than good on a vocal track as reverb tails can “blur the lines” of definition too much in a mix. A fantastic alternative to use instead, or with a small blend of reverb, is delay as you can stamp a subtle tone or shimmer to a lead vocal without the effects bloating out the mix. To all nay-sayers. Everyone has it´s own opinion ;) I find the H-Delay to be an absolute amazing and versatile Delay. It can be subtle, but it can also be brutal if i want it to. The amount of distortion that it adds when it reaches everything above 100% feedback adds a nice character to a lot of genres, especially ambient-sounds. (When controlled via a pedal or Automation).
