We are facing a global climate emergency.
We are heading toward a 2.5 C temperature rise, making much of the Earth will be uninhabitable.
The answer? Direct protection of forests on the ground, especially where it matters: tropical forests which are important for carbon storage and biodiversity.

The warnings are there, the evidence is there. Where are the leaders? Where is the political action that is needed? Can ordinary people like us goad the governments into action? It will take large-scale movements to get anything done.

Absolutely this needs to change, there has been a significant tree loss in Asia, once that Eco System changes it will be difficult to undo the damage, This also includes the Wildlife, once they are almost gone it will be very difficult to bring them back and have a healthy Eco System. What is being done in Asia to help stop this process or at least try to slow it down

8/8/2022- As I write this, both the entire USA and Europe are in severe drought and wet bulb conditions. It is 95 deg F -110 deg F in the USA. Fresh water is quickly disappearing. Crops and forests are burning and being destroyed. If the power grid that is powering our AC units was to go down or fail, there would be tens of millions of deaths. Humans simply cannot survive this kind of heat and drought. There is no way humans will survive or fix climate change. When the signs and symptoms started getting worse in 2018, the Republicans drilled for more oil and reversed climate protections and emissions reductions measures. That makes them guilty of crimes against humanity and they and the Exxon Mobiles of the world will soon answer to G-d. The only upside to abrupt exponential climate change is that within 2-3 years it will render perfect Justice in this world. Time is now running short for homo sapiens. This is a time to get your affairs in order.
