Do you remember the catchy opening theme from "The Big Bang Theory"? It might have been your first introduction to the Big Bang hypothesis, which suggests that the universe began as a hot and dense state that rapidly expanded over 14 billion years ago. But hold on tight because the James Webb Telescope has just revealed something truly astounding: six massive galaxies that emerged just half a billion years after the Big Bang. These galaxies are up to ten times larger than our very own Milky Way, leaving astronomers speechless. Even Michio Kaku, a renowned physicist, has come out to discuss this incredible discovery. Could this be the start of a groundbreaking new era in our understanding of the cosmos? Join us in today’s video as we explore the unknown and unravel the mysteries of these fascinating galaxies, thanks to the James Webb Telescope.
The Big Bang Theory is not just a popular TV show, it's also one of the most fascinating and widely accepted theories in modern cosmology. It describes the origin of our universe as a massive explosion that happened around 13.8 billion years ago. This explosion created space and time, as well as all the matter and energy in the universe. Imagine, a tiny singularity, smaller than an atom, suddenly expanding and creating everything we know today.

As long as humanity is blocked in the thinking that everything has a beginning and an end, there will always be surprises like this.

The JWT has proved that theories are good but in the world of reality, a waste of time.

Personally, I think it's about time we got some universe-shaking news like this. I feel like we've gotten complacent and smug about our understanding of it.

When I first saw the mapping of background radiation from that which is accepted as the Big Bang Theory, I thought it meant we could've found the edge of our universe and calculated its volume. That, to me, seemed an awfully strict limit on the size of the universe.

Don't worry: how we got here is how we got here; that hasn't changed. What has changed is our understanding of it. Perhaps we are discovering physics of the very ultra-large as opposed to physics of the large and very large that got us to today's understanding.

Physics still works: the emission spectrum of a hydrogen still consists mainly of 2 frequency lines in the yellow part of the EM spectrum. So physics of the very small still works. Newtonian physics still works, and we've used his gravitation theories to master gravity in space from planet to planet to star to supernova and so on. We've also used them to calculate the effects on 2 black holes colliding.

Instead of scrapping the entire Big Bang theory, we will be sorting out what still applies and what needs to be studied more heavily in the very ultra-large realm and what relations we can see in emergent properties at that state.

It's always confusing when science leaves the creator out of each equation.

Good news for "Cloud & rain model Universe" the combination of "Steady state Universe" and "Big Bang theory".

1:38 "This explosion CREATED space and time"... is the start of modern theoretical astrophysical problems - and if addressed properly (it's not true), the beginnings of it's solutions. The dimensions of Space, Time and Matter existed long before their current [intersections] and will continue to create new universes/realities long after the heat death of our universe.

If there was no beginning, then all the stars would have burnt out by now.

Those galaxies that jwst found probably came from the previous epoch of the universe. This may prove the existence of the multiverse. But we'll find out what the leading theorists have to say.

If the universe was not formed by the big bang, what formed it? Was it always there, it never had a beginning?

Obviously the Universe was created by a God!

All I know is it nothing to with a divine and all knowing being. This just tells us why science is great. The more we find out the more we adjust our theories and one day we might get to the bottom of the problem. Unlike another unpopular way to approach these problems 😂

Have any of these "professionals" though about the fact that their method of calculating age and distance in space and over VAST distance might be the problem?

Expansion of Universe
"The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it" (51:47). Just one of the many miracles written in the Quran, Allah is the creator, all knowing and merciful, written 1400years ago. “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” So said Albert Einstein

May he these galaxy have a different concept of time... time may be wrapped

The difference might be a vastly increased density of dark matter, due to the smaller universe.

As webb probes the furthest reaches of the cosmos for the Big Bang, I shall be looking for a Big Bang in the bedroom!!:)😂😂😂

God created the universe. Not "the Big Bang".
