What i'm understanding from this video is that i need a noodler's triple tail. not only because the nib itself is unique but because of those line variations.

You got me interested in the Triple Tail some time ago, and I have yet to play with one, but in my study of types of nibs recently, I found a description of a Music Nib which they say is usually a three-tine nib. They are supposedly also sometimes called Trident Nibs. I am wondering if the Triple Tail would be considered a Music Nib or not. Just wondering...

The triple tail looks to be a little broader than the lamy broad.

One of my best friends birthday is coming up in a few months and he has been doing calligraphy for years but has never gotten I to fountain pens. Do you have any recommendations for a pen I could get as a gift? I think my budget might be around $100. Thank you Larry, love your content stay safe.
