SSAS Tabular model security can be implemented using SQL Server Management studio. We need to create a Role and then assign users to that role. After creating a role, we need to restrict data in the table in the form of rows using the DAX script.
We can create test users in windows using the control panel and then add users.

hello and thank you. I tried it but it is not working with username() in excel. if I use abc\1234 it is working but it does not work dynamic. any advice? (excel 2010)
