Unbelievable !! That is just beyond any other type of advertising that is done today. I really hope that all those gentlemen live to get to fly Overture even if in a test basis. As former Concorde pilots and the OG’s when it comes to flying Supersonic aircraft & Overture being the 2nd generation of SST’s (hoping they get their first commercial flight done before any potential opponents), it would be fitting that they are handing over the yoke to the side stick pilots and onwards from there. I’ve had the privilege to have flown on Concorde, once from Paris to JFK, then a round trip to Barbados too. I cannot wait till Boom’s Overture comes into service and see how it compares to the Concorde. Many wonderful n memories and good times had too ….

Boys the shape is beautiful no doubt. The Concorde’s crossing of the sound barrier was an iconic feat, but it was not without its challenges—physics, vibrations, remains an inescapable force. That said, what’s the rush in crossing the Atlantic? Agatha Christie’s Poirot managed the journey leisurely by sea on several occasions (j/k), appreciating the slower pace. Personally, with homes in both Boston and London, I find the six-hour transatlantic flight to be just right. It offers the chance to relax, enjoy the journey, and appreciate the high safety standards and reliability of modern subsonic aircraft components.
