India went for military equipment from the Soviet Union, only after UK refused to supply advanced weapons to India. This included tanks, fighters and submarines. Soviet Union agreed to supply the weapons and allow technology transfer at a reasonable price. The British refusal was instigated by the US. During the 1971 Bangladesh crisis UK was working with the US to help in the deployment of the Seventh Fleet. UK was sending its fleet against India. At any future crisis, the UK will do what the US demands that is what their special relationship means. So, it is better for India to deal directly with USA and not through a third country. The coming economic squeeze will make the UK less relevant in the European theater. India should not help UK, as it will back stab once the crisis is over, that has been its tradition.

No one beat mr sunak.

Uk was not just ready for brown person.

It may take may be 100 or 200 years before something like that may happen.

That many years UK is behind USA.

That is my honest take on the whole thing.

British citizens have every right to select their leader on the basis ofwhichever quality they may want to look in the candidate.
