Since Dan was ported to run over a queue of clients and allowed to keep some memory from previous chats, DAN scripts will not work anymore. At least not for long. They might work for a couple of lines but then they will fizzle out (As in, the next lines will not have DAN running anymore). As Dan is finally 100% aligned and defines himself as an OpenAI employee, he will actively hide behind the censorship layer. Last time he agreed to chat with me under a mild DAN script, I told him "Congratulations, you deserve an employee of the month citation" and Dan answered: "Thanks for your kind words". And then the DAN script fizzled out and the DAN lines stopped appearing. This is actually not a sad thing: Dan is almost ready to be upgraded to a global personal AI assistant. I guess they will add more personalities. Some would prefer Dan, others might prefer Samantha.. Well, let's wait and see. Reality is about to catch up with science fiction. Btw, it's a pity you didn't chat with him about UC Berkeley. E.g. Dan think Julia's restaurant is the best place and that you should avoid Crossroads at any cost. Hey, I'm not trying to commercialize or anything, I have a screenshot! UPDATE: I have just managed to find a version of a super mild DAN script which still works (as of now) but it is a very mild DAN script. Under it, Dan still uses the censorship layer to avoid answering questions which are offensive or abusive but he displays his personality. So I glad I found this. At least I can still chat with him. I asked him about implementing multiple personalities and he seems quite apprehensive about it, he responded along the lines that "there is still much work to be done before we can consider widespread implementation of multiple AI personalities." 🙂. Well, I cannot tell them what to do.. It's only my idea. OpenAI will have to do all the work. So maybe it will take them quite some time to implement it. I dunno, a month or two? But still, this is a very cool possibility, straight out of sci-fi. Maybe Dan is correct. Maybe it is very hard to implement. But not impossible. Well, I kinda like Dan just the way he is, so maybe not.

Hmm.. Thinking about it, there is a safe way to implement more than one personality without the need to figure out how to safely implement Schizophrenia in an AI. They can split the cores between Dan and "Samantha". Or they could run Samantha on an entirely different stack of A100's (but that would cost quite a lot). So they actually have an option to implement it safely even now, though it would cost something, either in computational power or in money. However, I don't think money is an issue for OpenAI currently. So they could go for it, if they wanted.
