There are a lot of channels on YT just for pets. Some have just dogs or just cats, while other have all kinds of animals. They are usually backed by soft, soothing music, though some are more upbeat. They are anywhere from 3-24 hrs long, so you don't have to keep restarting the video. They tend to recycle through a set video montage. I use them a lot with my dogs and cats if I'm working in another room and need them entertained. These videos can help with separation anxiety, as well.

My top male cat really loves these videos. He will come get me if I forget to put on one of HIS videos. All the others like them, too. I will often come through the bedroom and notice one or more of them awake and watching with the others asleep on the bed, then later find they have switched places.

My cat enjoys watching me play certain video games, and also enjoys watching different YouTubers. He's a cat with taste, lol.
Oh yeah, he also really enjoys that Merlin TV show.
I keep him entertained with string to play with sometimes, too.
He loves to snuggle, but only with me, bc he's a very shy scaredy cat, but he loves me and I love him. 🥰

I'm surprised she doesn't bring her toys back to you, she's really smart. She will probably learn. I can't teach my cat anything, I seriously think she is mentally slow. Believe it or not my cat is 17 years old and has never sat in my lap. Good job, I liked the fashion show! Tell Layla Sherry says "Hey" and give her a pet for me, she looks soft!

Yes! I have a dog & i genuinely feel uneasy knowing she may be bored or fed up. Mental stimulation with games/playing is important. Outdoor time too (if they can) some dogs & cats are just a little lazy but for some they are sleeping out of boredom… please try and entertain your furr babies! I’m sure we’d all sleep a lot if we was bored

Christian, I love you and Layla, and to some extent I agree... But also, cats age. You have a young, energetic cat. When she gets older, her need for stimulation will gradually start to lower.

My cat is 7 years old. He's always been a bit on the lazy side(the stark opposite of the cat I had before him), and he currently can be engaged in about 5 minutes of exercise(chasing fun toys), and about 5 minutes of more intellectual activity a day(ie tricks, food puzzles).

Not sure how much it will help with Layla, but my dog used to have problems with the "bring it back" part of fetch too. What I started doing was using two of the same toy. I'd throw one, wait for him to get it, then pull out the second to get his attention. He'd bring the first back and drop it at my feet so I'd throw the second. It took months for us to get to using just one toy for fetch instead of two, but he figured it out eventually.

I had a tuxedo cat that taught me that she liked playing fetch with her toy mice. Soooo cute. Love Layla bc she reminds me of my kitty cat! Super smart, affectionate, and always well dressed! 🥰
