Adventures at Tokyo Tower [Romantic date with Rachel!]

Has anyone ever been to Tokyo Tower?

It's a very romantic date spot and tons of fun for just an afternoon getaway. We stopped by here on the way to the Youtube 忘年会 party.

I'm getting less awkward about recording videos in public, but I still have times when I feel MASSIVELY uncomfortable. Hah. Oh well.

I know this video is kinda old at this point, but i'd like to point out i love how the jblogger community seems to really stick together and form bonds with each other in a very positive way. Some neat historical info for anyone interested: The shrine you can see at 3:27 in the video is 三縁山増上寺 or San'en-zan Zōjō-ji, which was one of the Tokugawa family temples. 6 of the Tokugawa shogun are buried there. The temple and surrounding grounds are very beautiful, usually not too busy, and very nice to visit.

I absolutely love Tokyo Tower. To me growing up it was always one of the most iconic images of Tokyo and Japan overall. So I loved my visit in 2013 and I've made it my objective now to visit the tower whenever I am in Tokyo xD

Awww the sights from the tower! I was in Tokyo in 2007 (soo long ago) and I recognized some of the buildings you can see from the tower :D yay!

when we went it was just as it was coming into sunset so it was so nice seeing the lights slowly come up throughout the city then we could see skytree lighting up it was so awesome :D the only disappointment was when we found out about the floor window thing it was too dark to see much so it wasn't as grand as I had hoped! Glad I got to see it on here though :)
