Freak Mini Avalanche Caused Dyatlov Pass Mystery: Study

DYATLOV PASS, RUSSIA — This photo of Russian students cutting a snow shelter in the middle of a howling windstorm, is one of the reasons why a new study says the nine students who died freakishly in the Dyatlov Pass Incident, dug their own grave. Here are the details:

In January 1959, in the middle of the Russian winter, nine students set off on a long ski hike into Siberia and never returned.

When rescue teams later found their bodies strewn about the snow of Dyatlov Pass, their horrific injuries became the seeds of many a conspiracy theory, ranging from an alien attack to a Russian missile strike aimed at killing double agents.

National Geographic reports that a new scientific study found evidence that the nine unlucky students were killed by hypothermia after being crushed by a very unique type of avalanche.

The study postulates that the group sealed their own fate when they cut a shelter into a slope under the shoulder of a hillside.

The last photo of the group showed them cutting the shelter.

Computer models showed that such a position could have become deadly, as katabatic winds coming down the hillside would have deposited a heavy load of hard snow on the slope above them.

Their cut would also have made breaks in the supporting underlying layers of snow, causing a small section of hard snow above them to eventually break off, causing terrible injuries and forcing them to leave the tent in haste.

The rescuers who found the tent claimed that there were no signs of an avalanche even near the site.

One of the students had their tounge cut out and body parts amputated, as well as one students body was crushed without bruises or bleeding, I REFUSE to believe this was an Avalanche or something natural!!

Tomo you guys lost me with this one... there’s soooo much more coverage of this story that tomo shouldn’t have covered in the first place.

How about the radation that was found?

Good try really, but avalanches don't cause burns or radiation

Avalanche cut out their tongues and eyes too eh?

solved ?? They left their tent in their underpants and the corpses had strange injuries that have no rational explanation, they were expert mountaineers not

Whether this is true or not, it’s the best piece of evidence that could explain what happened before you get into supernatural territory.

Yikes, this is all false. Now everyone that comes across this video might believe the story that you've uploaded.

Read the autopsy report. Not sure what type of avalanche could of called radiation burns as well as tongues being removed.

Doesn't explain the radiation and the missing body parts

Give me a break. Who did the study, Dominion?

Then how did their bodies "aged" so quickly if it was just an avalanche??? They we're found just 2-4 weeks. And they're on snow so decay will be a very very slow process.

I've forgotten about this story. All I remember that it was creepy and bizarre.

These hikers were not novices at all. These kids and they were knew all about hiking so something really bad that even they could haven't foreseen must have gotten them. Even one of the worlds most extreme survivalist who lives on the 2 feet cliffs had said that nature is the one thing that you can see before hand. He went to the site with Josh Gates as well followed the same path as the hikers although on snowmobiles. He pointed out some of the weather issue the hikers could have experienced as well as how it would have effected the hikers that era's hiking and mountain clothing. I think he did say that based on the location of the camp that he believe that it may have been a rare or rouge type of weather issue that caused the death of the hikers as they left the safety of the tent which these hikers would never do unless of a life threatening danger. He even pointed out that depending on what type of weather issue did take out the hikers would explain a few of the way the bodies had been found. The show even tested the many of the theories which based on the data showed that it was most likely something to do with the weather that could have killed the hikers, Although there is a paper out there signed before the search for the hikers began saying that the site of the camp had been found. So that add a little to the mystery. 4

Some crazy radioactive bears that had been roaming around a nuclear facility found the tent during the storm and a struggle ensued. These bears were crazy because of some kind of radiation poisoning, and that mixed with their natural predatory abilities, and then being startled by equally startled humans, that commotion caused the bears to go berserk and begin ripping people apart and chasing them down. Through years of carnivorous experience, they've learned to appreciate the tenderness of la lengua. So maybe it was bears suffering from radioactively induced psychosis, taking shelter in the tent, and going on a rampage when everyone started screaming that caused the Dyatlov incident.

Wait so the avalanche didn’t cover the foot prints ? And those showed they walked calmly. If a avalanche came they would’ve ran
