Remember, it’s 250WHP, add 25% for drivetrain loss and you’re at 300-310HP which I think is plenty for a 2600lb drift missile. You’re making as much as an older 350z and they weigh a lot more than 2600lbs.

The fact you only needed 245 hp to drift as well as you did is amazing. Every other drifting youtuber needs like 350-500 hp for them to comfortably drift.

People saying “that’s a small amount of Hp for a v8” need to realize stock ls1s (YOU KNOW THE CORVETTE MOTOR) made about 280-90 to the wheels this really isn’t that slow for a very low displacement v8 people need to stop thinking that “oh it’s a v8 it must make 500hp or it’s slow”

Very cool build, small truck with a N/A V-8 and a manual transmission. What is the heart of the beast, what motor?

I would put the rear axle in the correct spot before putting in the 4 link. It’s too far to the back and that may be cause it to axle tramp (wheel hop as you call it) all the time. I drift and rally a car with a live axle and they rarely hop.
