Artesania Latina, one of Europe's largest model ship kit manufacturers, has created kits of a number of American vessels, the Swift being one of the most commonly found kits for sale online. This plank-on-bulkhead kit is "easy to build" according to the manufacturer.

Just cut my scuppers after searching long and hard for what they were and where they go. Finally spotted them on the plans and what a pain to drill and cut but done.

I bought mine around the same time as fast freddy below. Now in 2022 I plan to build it. I believe that I did not get all the pieces, like #12 blocks in the aft of the boat. That has set me back nearly 35 years. Now that I am retired, thought I'd give it a shot, so here we go...I do believe I got an early version, for not all the pieces are cut out like the sample in the video. My rudder parts are all attached and I will have to take a saw to them, hope not a saber saw!!!

Dude! I still have the box mine came in. $39.95 at "Stadium Toy and Craft" Tacoma, WA. in the early eighties. Thar she sits, gathering dust. My first wooden ship model, hull turned out well, might redo the simple rigging. Nothing as beautiful as a well made wooden boat big or small.

Omg I got mine Crome good will for 15 it even came with the original receipt with a person who bought it in the model expo in 1985 and a bunch of Extra parts
