I have been blessed with many of your projects. This series is great. I have been looking for a item to hold the greeting cards I receive like the one my grandmother made me for Christmas Cards. The retirement home glued two cards of the same size together back to back . There were 3 template pieces they cut form these cards. I happen to be there when they made them to sell at their Christmas Craft Fair. The then punched 1/8" holes all along the edges so they could be crouched together. With the lid sewn at the four inch mark on the middle of the back it comes looking out like a bench you might have in ;your entrance way to store things in.

During the year she kept stamp, address lables, sm. address book (she would cut the return addresses off the envelopes and enter the in the book w/glue), and Thank You notes. With lid down you could not see it, just a cute decor piece. When cards start coming just lay down on the back and items will go back and cards go in front.

Wish I could send you pictures so you could show others how to make one for year around, like you do the other box's.

Wow, this is a great gift idea for anyone, like you said. I always make snickerdoodles for my church choir at Christmas, but usually want to think of something a little extra for the pastor (who also sings with us)... I think she would love this. (And I could add the snickerdoodle recipe! 😁)
