*THIS VIDEO just told me exactly what I assumed about a 'Record Holding Competitor'.* When that 'Competitor' resorts to issuing a WARNING in a product listing and place 100% of the blame on someone else's product in order to upsell their own 'strengthened' replacement (rather than a simple 'fix' as part of standard machine work) and a re-evaluation of the situation, as to the possible cause of the problem, it should really make you take a step back and do some homework of your own. One would think that if a company is equipped with the technology to 5-axis mill custom Cylinder heads, that a simple VALVE SEAT UPGRADE/REPLACEMENT shouldn't be an issue. Think again. One could also come to the conclusion that if your In-House Designed Camshaft profiles have the closing bounce of a Golf Ball on Concrete and knock valve seats out of OEM Cylinder Heads, that you may want to re-evaluate that Lobe Design, rather than simply blame the Cylinder alas, THINK AGAIN. As I find Brian to be a Classy guy who skipped the opportunity to put anyone out on BLAST, I will do the same and not call anyone out specifically. If you are equipping your GenV Street Vehicle with a CAM other than from BTR, you are rolling the dice. Consider yourself warned. Brian's recent contributions to GM SB GenIII/IV/V Performance go further than a warehouse full of CNC machines spitting out 'Record Setting Heads/Camshaft' packages for sale. As Brian was also too modest to tell you, you can literally count the number of SPINTRONS in use for Cam/Valvetrain development in the US on 1 hand and still have room.

I have a BTR older non vvt stage 2 na cam in my c7 and love the awesome performance but I do miss The low end punch that vvt gives but would LOVE to jump to ther new vvt 225 cam but im looking for a installer and then I'm in the hunt. A++ for BTR and the gang and Also James short for the research and development he puts in. Thanks guys for making such great products and the quality is a industry standard above all.

I have a BTR cam and have not been disappointed. This is probably why.

I did a btr stage 2 cam on a 14 sierra and got crap, it was a whole different truck! If you stabbed it as you taking off the torque was instant and was just haze the tires where before it was just hook and slowly take off. I always love watching things where he talking about data cause that's the cool shit and I've always been interested in camshaft stuff.

Keep those cams coming. Not going to mention the competitor company but Its a big one. They have issues with quality lifters breaking(installed by other shops). That same company will sell you a one bolt Cam then send you a 3 bolt Cam. On top of that give you attitude about it. Of course I don't have any issues when using BTR cams. I get what I order and when I have questions Paul is on point. Shipping time is amazing. Spring selection available none of this "660 the world" going on here with lower lift camshafts. Brian we need a BTR truck intake manifold dedicated for 3/4 5 Gen. We want to be pretty as well 😂

I agree with you, VVT is a big advantage and I don't want to get rid of it on my next LC9 build. Btw I installed one of your Truck Norris cams in a gen 3 4.8 today! Can't wait to hear it run maybe on sunday!

Man, I sure wish BTR would think about reconsidering to wade into the Ford Mod Motor arena, especially into the old 3V arena that is using the very same DEPS VCT (or as you're calling it VVT) system (w\ 2 camshafts instead of I know this wish of mine is most likely a pipe dream, but I can dream, can't I? I do know this for I ever do get into another GM vehicle, it will only be w\ a Gen V V8 installed using VVT & only run BTR equipment in it!

I'm doing a 427 LT4 with ported 2650 blower over the winter. Have you done any testing with a similar combo? Car will have full DI and port fuel system run with Holley.

my friend just intalled a stage 2 into his L86. it is the noisiest thing Ive hear. Normal? like a rotary noise.
