I like the way that was handled by the other Hass employee- listens to mazepins dad, doesnt escalate, takes it to the person above him (Steiner) without sitting on it.

Why would they submit a formal letter ? asks the team principle - Employee B tells him its because of a possibility of withdrawal from the organization, and that same misbelief that the cars (spare any small development testing AB comparisons on the cars) are not identical.

At the end neither Hass employees are escalatory, but they realize this misperception needs to be corrected, & done in a way that keeps it from returning.

- In the current ago of F1- Both cars fielded by the teams are IDENTICAL. -

that way one side of the garage can help the other, all the way to having 2 crews working to rebuild a car from a practice crash, or failure. You do not introduce a possibility for error through something as dumb as non conformity. If something changes and is finalized on one chassis (side of the garage) - it will be replicated to the T on the other Car.

There are thousands of employees behind the 2 cars brought by the teams each week. the drivers are only a tiny % of the input into those things. (finally each car is built and disassembled for transit after every race. That's right were not rolling them onto a plane ( sometimes they do for short haul or time sensitive), but instead its all packed into flight cases and flown as cargo. The Flight cases themselves are designed and balanced to make the maximum safe use of the planes interior volume.
