My first Glider training was going around an Island {Kapati}, heading back towards the hills, turning and handing over at 400", before finals. A few more of those over several weekends, and land. I remember down at Aoraki {Mt Cook} rising at 1200' a minute in silence, Yes, Silk. To nearly 15, 000' for 15 minutes, then dropping, because our fingers were changing to Pink. Just loved those years. Congrats Hannah for getting it

Y'all need some wool blankets to put on the ground or the bench to keep you off the cold ground and surfaces. That is what we had in our Jeeps when we would ski or hike in the backcountry and camp or just eat outside at our little base camp.
