And he's back. Phew. Penguin life restored in all its glory. I have actually never read Pretty Boy Terence. Maybe Tilly and I should read one of his plays for our #discussingdrama thing.

Oh thank goodness. I suffered DPW (Daily Penguin Withdrawal) all weekend.

Thank you Steve! I really missed the Daily Penguins. By the way, do you know about Editorial Gredos? Both in Spain and Latin America, Gredos is the publisher of Greek and Roman Classics par excellence. Their catalogue is huge, they have everything, literally. The traductions are famous for being some of the best in spanish, the notes and introductions are excellent and the books are beautifully made (blue hardcovers, almost the size of a Penguin Classic, and also some beautiful paperbacks). Check it out! Trust me, you won't regret it!

I went looking for my copy of Terence. Nowhere to be found. And no copy on my ebooks either. I had that edition for my studies years ago. Will seek and find another AND reread with your insights in mind. Thank you again.

Steve, is there a favorite comedy of Terence’s you would recommend? I read Phormio in my Viking Portable Roman Reader and didn’t particularly enjoy it. It may have been the translation and was thinking of giving Roman drama another shot.
