Bad Wimpfen | Walking through the Medieval Fair

The already beautiful, picturesque, little town of Bad Wimpfen hosts its yearly Zunftmarkt, or medieval fair, or, better yet, guild market. Among the timeless half-timbered houses, an impressive display of craftsmanship delights each traveler. From blacksmiths and glassmakers to potters and stonemasons, all the townsfolk is present, showcasing their unique, hand-made pieces. The decor wouldn't be wholesome without the medieval soldiers, the jester and the bard. And of course mead and ale! Tons of them! If only there was a medieval camp replica and some nice old music playing along...Oh wait!
