Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the Batman: Arkham Origins - "Personal Mission" Launch Trailer. The launch trailer sets the tone for visceral combat, an expansive Gotham City and action-packed story players can expect to see as they suit up as the young hero known as Batman to take on Black Mask and eight deadly assassins.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships.

Who's to say he can't? Relying on canon comics is a moot point in the Arkham games; you ARE the Batman, and whether he wins or not is up to you, the player.

To argue, Deathstroke is more of Dick Grayson's archnemesis than he is Batman. And most battles with Batman have been close, so Batman would technically still be able to hold up with Deathstroke to an extent.

Of course, given Deathstroke's abilities, normal (even trained) people shouldn''t win one-on-one against him no matter what. Comics tend to have inconsistencies; can't do much about them.

so it's safe to say Deathstroke is a far better combatant than Batman

Yep, GTA 5 sure is a benchmark. Never before has a game been so wide, with so many things to do, with so little depth and absolutely no connection to anything or each other or reason to do them.

It's a solid 8/10 game. Not important in any way, save for how many people love mediocrity.
