Wow: McDonald's Launches CosMc's, a Space-Themed Restaurant, Taking Food to New Heights

Fast food fans rejoice! McDonald's is expanding its universe with the launch of CosMc's, a brand-new space-themed restaurant inspired by their iconic 1980s alien mascot. The first CosMc's is set to open in Bolingbrook, Illinois, on December 6, 2023, with more locations planned for 2024, including Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio.
Unlike a traditional McDonald's, CosMc's boasts a menu heavily focused on unique beverages and sweet treats. Gone are the rows of burgers and fries, replaced by a vibrant selection of 10 new drinks and several sweet offerings. From a S'mores Cold Brew to a Tumeric Spiced Latte, CosMc's promises "bold and unexpected flavor combinations" to "boost your mood into the stratosphere."
However, McDonald's hasn't completely abandoned its roots. Fans can still grab their favorite Mc-universe breakfast sandwiches and the iconic M&M McFlurry.
