First of all the population is near 1 billion and not 1.4 billion as is being propogated, secondly the salaries and income of many indians is unknown to the govt so the whole gdp calculation is pretty inaccurate.
Digitalisation will pave way to clarity in numbers but consumption numbers in india are double of what is being reported.at least double.
Also imports from china have come down and are reported wrongly they are half the reported figure which itself boards well for indian gdp as it takes into account export minus imports
Frankly speaking indian gdp is close to 10 trillion dollars.
Considering the real value of usd is 30 rs a usd.then it should be around 25 trillion usd.
India is the biggest economy in the world.If they replace all chinese imports and that fr
om asean.
Its a big loss for india if we do trade with them without getting their market access for our goods.
They should either stop trade with us or give us their market.
