My 885 has lasted me 10 years, only changed out the brushes+regreased it a few times but still runs like new!! Do have 887+850 but the 885 is my go to!!😊

This is where you put your impact driver away and pull out your drill

For the price and warranty, it's very hard to beat the Hercules. That little impact with a 5ah battery is very impressive for what it cost!!

You should only care about durability... if a tool takes a second or 2 to perform.. it won't make a difference in your day.. if it actually burns out or breaks on you that's when it should matter.

Can we talk about the fact that the writing on the Festool impact wrench corresponds to the same time as that of the Hercules impact wrench, even though the Festool took 8.50 seconds. So the writing on the Festool impact wrench has been swapped accidentally.😅

Many modern 18v tools will perform similarly. The real test is longevity.

So as a guy who actually uses these tools all day I’m not looking for which one can drive the fastest I’m looking at weight how comfortable is it in the hand how well does it ride on my belt they all have more than enough power to drive the screws they are designed to drive so when I watch the YouTube clowns doing this test and only this test it’s cringe worthy

😂 I see you changed the lineup at the end 😮😅

Reason why festool takes longer is bc it is made to last 10-15 years in your arsenal. Better than having the tool for 3-5 years just to buy a new one.

The festool showed 8:50 and you put 7:58!! How can anyone take you or this test seriously???

Don’t think Festool builds for speed as much as comfort and control and longevity. Can’t say for sure but at their prices and only seems to be around master craftsmen that use or can afford them. Like I heard that gentleman does not have to be there he has plenty of people working for him.

Nah just a second difference, we need speed of light!

These sort of tests are ok but they don’t really matter in the real world on site.

All main brand tools are decent enough to get any job done. Reliability is important though.

There’s only been one instance where I wished my makita impact driver had a little more power and I just ended up using an impact wrench instead..

I love that the best test of an impact is a speed test? They aren’t cars dude, to do more elaborate testing you have to do a check list of different test, numerous times, to compare

That's because your supposed to use a drill not a impact for this

Festool isn't for that type of work 😊
