I always get a little agitated when I see people complain that business owners get "paid" more than employees and screech about how unfair it is. Business owners are taking a financial RISK. If they fail to manage their business, they LOSE money. Employees take NO financial risk in working for a company; they are going to be paid regardless of how the business is doing.

The sad thing about business is taxes (and some regulations). I had my own and being the less financially exposed possible nowadays is a must. If you can open your biz at the father's garage, consider it.

I used to invest in credit card companies but they pay a crappy dividend. I moved away from Visa/MasterCard stocks for other companies who pay larger/better dividend payouts.
